Welcome to Campus Area Biking, a student based initiative working to establish Pratt Institute as a model campus for a comprehensive bike program.
CAB has been designed to establish a process and a platform on which student groups and campus Facilities can better build and develop a model bike program that functions within the constraints of an urban college campus. Using different analysis, mapping studies, site surveys, and community outreach, the hope is to utilize web-based systems to build an online platform that will bring together all stakeholder groups to develop an extensive bike program that caters to the needs of Pratt community and the surrounding neighborhood.
Stay up-to-date on the project’s progress by reading the blog posts, learn more about CAB’s development by reading the project documents, and stay informed about Pratt’s campus bike policies (coming soon). Eventually, I hope to include links to useful maps, a route mapping resource, and a wiki for Pratt community discussions.
